# Processing times

> How long each step takes, from first chat message to delivered claim documents

## Processing times and what to expect

Most of XBuild is fast — estimates build in minutes and retail proposals publish on the spot. A few steps take longer because a partner produces the deliverable or a human is involved. Use this table to set expectations with your customer before you start.

Insurance publish documents are emailed to you and filed in the project panel's **Documents** section, so you needn't keep the publishing screen open.

### 2. Troubleshooting common issues

* **My Xactimate publish passed 10 minutes.** Still working — the screen says when it's running long, and documents arrive by email and in Documents regardless.
* **My Symbility publish isn't back yet.** Up to 24 hours by design. Past a full day with nothing, contact XBuild Support.
* **The report shows as delivered but isn't in Documents.** Delivery can beat the download by seconds. Refresh; if still missing after a minute, contact XBuild Support.
* **The claim has sat with the carrier for weeks.** Carrier time, not XBuild time — **Claim activity** shows every follow-up sent and response received.
